Spare the explanation, I have a degree in biomedical genetics, unfortunately for me. My point was that your assumption is, as the other commenter have said, is akin to heroine withdrawal/serious brain degeneration, such as Parkinson’s disease or early-onset dementia. It became trendy to blame dopamine, and the lack of control on everything these days, but I don’t see how we gentle people have any aberration in brain dopamine (coffee, nicotine and alcohol are weak stimulants). And you obviously don’t have access to any stimulant during the period of gaining self-awareness in childhood. There is probably a combination of genetic predisposition, some shitty parenting, acquired paranoia and chronic anxiety.. all mostly psychological issues in most of us, in my opinion.
