Saying there is no relation between dopamin balance and stuttering is just ignorant. There is research on already approved medications that affected the dopamine, where they conclude that the stuttering decrease significantly. I'm myself on 10mg zyprexa (olanzapine) and it has helped me a lot. What I wonder is, do you think ecopipam will be more effective than olanzapine, or is it just that it will target the stuttering more precisely, as olanzapine hits on a wide range of dopamine receptors and maybe not just those that cause stuttering.
