But your frustrations are totally justified as most people misunderstand the concept. You can't accept and be ok with your stutter when you're struggling all the time and have no joy in communication. And trying to force yourself to accept that this is ok and be happy is like some fighting against the wind. Also you can't just make yourself accept your stutter by thinking it. It takes practice and work. You can work on accepting your stuttering and work on reducing the struggle. Both are needed to get to where pws want to be. BTW if your daughter is a teen, get her involved with _FRIENDS Who Stutter_
