Thank your for the kind words! Appreciate it. I also noticed it depends on mental health a lot. Over the years I became hyperfocused on my speech which makes it harder to focus on the substance of a conversation. I can barely talk to my close relatives nowadays, so that really stresses me out. They know I stutter and accept it but I can't act in a normal way. I used to not have a stutter until I hit 15/16. Maybe I had a mild stutter throughout my life before that age but neither my parents nor anyone else ever noticed. I still have hope it will go away just like it suddenly came. It makes me feel like I can't be who I really am and I closed up. Thus, I never saw myself as a stutterer and, as far as I know, it's rare that you obtain a stutter after early childhood (if it wasn't there before).
