I think being able to become desensitized to hearing other people stutter is good for us, because any desensitization is good. But I too also get kinda hyper focused on it if I think somebody else stutters. And I get a little uncomfortable by it. I’d say part of the reason is because I’m sympathizing with them and feel their possible anxiety. And the other reason is because I feel like they may hyper focus on my stuttering too, and also I feel like they are reading my mind because we have a similar experience we can both understand. And I’m so used to other people not understanding my experience of stuttering, because usually I can try to hide the fact that it’s anxiety related
