Her way of saying “just say it” wasn’t nice but try to look at people’s actions with good intent, for your own sanity. I had a lot of teachers and supervisors who would throw me in awkward situations just to let me sink or swim and I give them the benefit of a doubt that they want what’s best for me. This may or may not be the case as I don’t know your teacher personally.
