Stuttering at a job interview So I just had a job interview about 30 mins ago and I can't explain in words how bad I F'd up describing my professional background because of this stuttering. This job position is the perfect fit for the continuation of my career. I am in my 20s, highly educated, well traveled, and my work ethic has always been the backbone of all my successes. Unfortunately, I had to quit my last job in 2020, mid-Covid, due to a family loss. I decided to move back home to take care of mines and stabilize family dynamics. Thank God I was able to do that, although I was professionally inactive for a year and a half. Now I am back on the job market. After healing from all the events of the past 2 years, now I am highly motivated and very focused. I am clear on what I want to do and accomplish personally and professionally. But my stuttering is screwing me. I just know that if I had perfect speech, with my work exp. and confidence, I could convince any recruiter in my field to employ me, regardless of my years of inactivity. But the nervousness of the moment unleashed my stuttering. This shit sucks bro. But I'm staying positive. If I don't get this one, I'll get the next one. Now I am about to go on a 2-hour walk, just to shake off that horrible interview.
