Probably because a lot of PWS including me and you and him and the OP have heard tons of answers like that and it's not the answer WE'RE looking for. Although dont get me wrong. You did not do anything wrong here, it's just the reality sucks for us and acceptance is so HARD.. After someone motivates us to just not give a fuck and go out there and talk, REALITY just SLAPS back HARDER and you become depressed again. Same Unescapable CYCLE. atleast that's my take on his comment..
