Late thirties here. Not doing great in terms of the big things in life. That's partly due to stuttering and my personality that is on the introverted side but what has probably had a much more crucial effect on my life is gambling addiction. Additionally, I lack the drive for a clear path — I've basically never had a firm knowledge of what I what from life, what I truly enjoy and what I'd love to do for work, or even as far as hobbies go. Life is short but when you don't have a strong and stable inner guidance and voice it can feel kinda long, too. Now I'm not a garbage eating slob who doesn't see the light of day and I do have a roof over my head so it could be a lot worse and I'm healthy, too, but I don't think I'm thriving by any measure. It's a puzzling thing, life is.
