Lots of bombed interviews (Even when I lay out the preamble as a PWS). Lots of lost opportunities. Lots of experience of seeing the “oh boy” eye roll look on HR and other interviewers faces when they experience my speech. Lots of experience realizing that people aren’t listening to my answers, and instead, are focusing on my disfluency. I’ve even had a few interviews where people stop and offer me unsolicited, on-the-spot, amateur speech therapy… Including a “Spit it out!!” <sarcasm>Superfun</sarcasm>
