I wish we could all just get some kind of speech-start-end marker accommodation. For example, a man with physical disability and speech impediment can manage people by participating in meetings and discussions and his accommodation could be that everybody must understand that when he rings his bell once, that is the beginning of his speech, and no one can interrupt no matter how long he pauses. And when he rings his bell twice, that is the end of his speech and other people can chime in. My accommodation would be that any sound I make marks the beginning of my speech and no matter what my eyes do or what face I make during my blocks, everybody must understand that I'm still in the middle of my speech. And when I make eye contact and nods like a normal person, that marks the end of my speech.
