Moved from Portugal to Brazil a few years ago. During a whole month I barely spoke because the classes hadn‘t started yet and I knew no one. On the first day of school my stutter was BAD and I had to introduce myself to the class and I couldn‘t get my name out in front of 30 people. It was one of the most embarassing moments in my entire life. I felt horrible and cried a whole week about it. It ended up fine though, my Portuguese teacher was an angel who explained later to the class my stutter. She supported me all the way since middle to high school and she even cried when I did a presentation on her subject and almost didn‘t get any blocks.
