I've always had the exact opposite belief, as in that male stutterers have it harder in the dating world than female stutterers. Women find confidence in men very important and stuttering can make it very hard to display confidence because of the stigma attached to it. On the other hand stuttering can make women look vulnerable which triggers the protective instinct in men. All the stuttering women I know (around 20) never had any problem with dating.
