For me, it depends on how much of a threat I perceive the person to be regardless of gender. I can be a modern day Casanova with one woman, but an infantile blubbering mess with the next. Same with men minus the seduction part. This fucking multiplicity of personas I am forced into as a result of stuttering is one of the most evil aspects of it. My identity never stops shifting.
