Anyone in a choir?

Anyone in a choir? My stutter is from my mother, she claims she use to stutter when young and somehow over came it in teenager years and she doesn't know how. I'm now guessing it's due to her being in a choir during the years she over came it. It's just my theory for now due to choral speaking being effective for fluency stutterers.
