I went to see one with my dad(I’m 17M) a few months ago for insomnia. After the first three words I said he interrupted me and asked why I was stuttering in the most arrogant way. Treated me like I was stupid the rest of the appointment and wouldn’t let me answer his questions and would instead ask my dad everything. But if you can find a good neurologist, I’d be interested in what they had to say about your stutter. I’ve done research on the brains of stutterers in the past.
