My most embarrasing stuttering experience

My most embarrasing stuttering experience I was at a party, and I went to introduce myself to 4 guys who sat on the couch I didn't know. There were probably 20 other people in the room, and just when I started to shake their hands, the music stopped and I felt like everyone was paying attention to me. The result? "Hey. J-John, J-John, J-John, J-John." Probably everyone heard it. Some looked at each other. Others laughed. I am very good at hiding my stutter, so most of my friends don't see me as a stutterer. I guess they were very confused as to what was going on. (my name isn't really John, it's just to illustrate my point)
