Hey, Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I'm at a somewhat similar stage in life. Thanks for posting this, I'm here for advise too. I'm working as a part time bus driver but I want to work at a non-profit organization. I've been too scared to apply because like you, I feel like there are better candidates than me. People who can talk better. I'm scared that I'll have to answer phone calls and it's going to take longer for me to get my point across compared to others. So I never applied. I seek jobs that don't require much talking. I've worked as a cook too. I just started following this sub an hour ago because I wanna change! I wanna work in a field I'm interested in. This is a sub with alot of helpful advice. So far the best advice to improve stuttering I've noted down is to call businesses and try to have a smooth conversation. Basically improve stuttering and self confidence by prank calling lol. I think I'm gonna give it a shot. Try and see if this helps you. Also try and not be sad I know its easier said than done. but seriously dude hugs. We can do this :)
