I have to answer the phone at my work with the whole “Hi thank you for calling -company name- this is -my name- how can I help you?” And I’ve stumbled many many MANY a time on the company name or my name just because the sounds they start with are difficult for me and I can’t quite keep the flow every time so I’ll just block. I’ve had people call and say “Did you forget where you work haha?” And I’ll say “no I have a stutter”, then they feel bad and try and be nice and give me some little anecdote and I just stopped caring a long time ago. Unless they’re really condescending and then I’m upset.
