that's awful. Sorry you had a rough day. It's especially hard during the teens and double especially with girls. Some people just dont know how to act appropriately and politely yet, so you get offense and hurtful comments and laughter. It's embarrassing and super shitty, but you should give yourself credit. These kind of worst case scenarios are always possible and you still chose to talk to them during class and even after. That takes courage. Times like these will happen and you're allowed to feel like crap, but it doesn't always have to hit this hard. I assume you're in the US, so I recommend meeting other people who stutter and having a place where you can talk about this stuff (aside from here). It's a safe place where you can meet other stutterers, talk about issues you're facing, and just get support. I think peer support is critical.
