Practice speaking louder at home. Purposely make yourself stutter. Do you have tension in your throat, diaphragm, somewhere else? Relax the tension and try to use techniques specific to that problem. Would you get in trouble if you stopped and just told the people that you stutter, if people act like that lady again?
