1. You seem really grounded - and clear sighted. I was struck by what you wrote: "I’m not trying to be a hedge fund quant or Wall Street analyst. I want to engage with clients, guide them, and build something long-term — ideally with flexible hours and serious upside." My two cents - stay true to what you want, and steer clear of what you don't. That's a winning recipe to get more of what you're shooting for. 2. Overall, Your question seems more career-related than stuttering-focused. And I think that makes sense. As you said, "I stutter, especially in high-pressure or group situations — but I’m clear, calm, and confident when it counts." I think it helps to see your stutter as one characteristic that makes you who you are. And it can be an asset (sometimes.) People may trust you more. People may find you more likable. Don't miss the opportunity to share what you have learned about your stutter with other people you meet and work with along the way. Meaning, if you have a good sense of what you're stutter is all about - and what helps/bothers you - share that with people. Ultimately, this "self advocacy" will put others at ease, setting-up more openness for the most robust relationships. 3. If you'd like to see/listen these three episodes of TranscendingX Podcast, these are all men who stutter and work in finance.
