Doing tiny bits of exposure therapy helped me -- like practicing stuttering openly and confidently in situations where people were likely to be nice about it! Like sometimes I would challenge myself to go through a drive through and let myself stutter while ordering food, and usually the workers literally don't react or care, and then it gets a little bit easier each time it goes well! Every time I open stuttered and no one laughed at me or made fun of me, my confidence boosted a tiny amount. You are more than your stutter and it will get easier, give yourself kindness and grace and go at your own pace!! <3
