The thing that helps me the most out of everything is confidence, my speech therapist tried teaching me tricks and tips but it never worked, iv taught myself over the past few years that forcing myself into uncomfortable situations such as creating conversation always improved my confidence which then helped my stutter. If you can build your confidence to the point where you think you could talk and get along with pretty much anyone I think that really helps as you don’t get the pre-conversation nerves. 🙂
