Yeah, this is the reason why I avoid talking as much as I can while in public, I'm way too scared of being mocked ☹️ just recently when I was shopping my dad called me and asked me if he should pick me up (I was going to visit my parents that weekend) but he thought that I was still in my own apartment so I tried to say to him that I'm at a crocery shop at the moment and ended up stuck in the word mä (it's a short for "I" in my mother language Finnish) for which seemed like forever which caused some lady next to me to stare at me like I was some circus freak. Do these people really think that we do this shit for fun or something? 🤷‍♀️
