Answer yourself some questions... Why don't I want to continue with this speech therapist? Did I give it a fair shot? Did I buckle down and do the work? Was I honest with the therapist? If you are set on not continuing with your speech therapist, make sure you do an exit interview. Get their take on why therapy wasn't helpful. You may want to seek out a different speech therapist. Your current speech therapist may be a resource to help you find another. Not every patient / therapist pairing is successful. And any professional worth their salt isn't going to begrudge you seeking help elsewhere.
