This was my life for 35 years. I have a masters degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, written many research papers/projects with colleagues and I've had interviewers (in person) tell me that I'm not a good fit for their company (there were even giggles when I stuttered on my name and everything else asked of me). It occurred to me that THIS is not the environment that I want to work in. A few days later I thanked them in a written letter (we did those back in the day) explaining that this company is very unprofessional, lacks a code ethics, and quite obviously lacks basic commen sense when a most qualified candidate is in front of them. I chose a different route (career wise) and eventually ended up in the job I wanted based on my work performance. When dealing with these corporate types, some, not all, are just plain 💩. Find a work around the job to the job that you want; we are very resourceful Good luck and you ever want to vent over zoom, I'm always available.
