I work in Spain, although in truth, even if I'm working in-house, it's for a non-LSP (Language Service Provider) company, meaning they have no idea about translation and related best practices. My goal is to become a videogame localization specialist. You don't need to be able to speak stutter-free to become a translator, as long as you deliver on time and follow client requirements it's only going to go well for you. Keep trying and best of luck!
