Thought I would share this I always though this was a bit weird I was thinking the other day if somebody else had this as well I was born in Brazil and my native language is Portuguese. I used to stutter a lot in my childhood, I believed it got better than it was by my teenage years. As of now I still stutter but I do consider it to be mild. I was 16 years old when I moved to the US As soon as I got here I started going to school didn’t know any English tho As I learned a new Language I noticed I wasn’t stammering at all, by the time I graduated high school I was fluent in English and stutter free in English, however, when I go back to my native language talking to family members I still stutter. I always think about this. Have any of you had this experience of learning a second language and actually having s better fluency?
