The short answer is no. Social security doesn't care that YOUR career requires a lot of speaking. The general question is, can you stutter and still work "a" job. That is, a job that doesnt require much speaking. And that answer is yes. The other thing is, since you are young, you most likely dont have enough credits to qualify for SSDI. And for SSI, if you did miraculously qualify, the very most you can make as individual is $914 a month and it would probably be lower. Good luck living on that.
