Completely relate to this, aside from being stutter (Actually severe then and today), people said that I always had a backpack because I had big spine problems. Now, after 3 extremely painful surgeries that catapulted my suicide thoughts (really, I even had hallucinations fue to pain, my wife also had a bad time), at least, I look with a normal body (with a lot of remnant chronic pain). Stuttering is still there, and now, having 33 years, is becoming a very big problem with my career changes (I'm switching from academic/public sector to private) .
