I went to treatment about 20 years ago to a 3 week intensive program. It addressed both fluency technique and just as important, addressed the mental and hit job that I was putting myself through. It was tough, but went from moderate/severe to light stutter. I still block from time to time, but I don't get down on myself if I have a "stutterly" day. I truly believe getting right with the mental effects of a stutter is just as important as improving fluency. Dont give up!
