I agree with your points you made here. I definitely don't think acceptance and working your way out are mutually exclusive. I hope everyone here eventually either cures their way out or at least dramatically improves their impediment. For me, I think mine is mostly psychological or emotional, rather than impending on it a neurological or genetic factor, which i'm sure there are some cases of it. As for "modern science" yeah well, of course they haven't found the cure. It's like for cancer, but you occasionally hear about people curing their cancer from alternative or holistic medicine. But that's beside the point. I definitely would like to see more aggressive effort and intention in this support group to see actual practical things that has helped or could help our progress :)
