Not sure if you're title hints that you're worried about your stutter affecting your service in the Marines. It won't. I did four years active army as an infantryman, then switched to four years reserve. It didn't affect my job performance at all. Now that being said, the military has the same people you and I have experienced our entire lives. So yes there will be occasional making fun of / picking on, especially when you're brand new. They won't know you, and that's more than likely the first thing that will stand out to people. It gets better, I promise. Of course I could have misinterpreted the title and wrong that for now reason. Either way! You got this!
