Rewarding. Even though you stutter, being able to provide valuable information that helps the other person on the phone will make you feel better about your stutter. I do a little technical support at work sometimes. If someone is talking to me it means an important machine at their factory is not running. I usually know how to get these things back in action, so if I'm having an especially stuttery day I'll even tell them "bear with me, I know how to fix your problem, I just have to spit it out", we'll both have a laugh and I'm able to get them back up and running. Always feel good after the call. I guess it depends on the job. I know by the end of my call the person on the other line will be very grateful There machine is running and they're making money. Even though I stuttered a lot, I was able to make this happen. It's really the opposite of what you think before doing a job like that. It helps me be ok with the impediment.
