Certainly no research demonstrating a link between int and being a PWS. As far as the perception of a PWS goes, a study that I conducted in grad school (didn't try to publish it, so take it for what it's worth) found that groups of elementary school children did not perceive the same girl videotaped speaking as less intelligent whether she stuttered or didn't stutter. Couldn't say for adults, though.
