Does Anyone Else Find Controversial Things Easier To Say? This is one ultra weird aspect of my stutter. My stutter is really severe now (it was better in childhood). I find any kind of talking hard. And this is one super weird thing about me. Whenever I have to say anything that might be considered controversial or likely to shock.....because you're expected to not say that out loud or those are not traditional points of view.......I actually find talking about that easy. Like the stutter doesn't get in the way. Sometimes I might not even stutter when I say it. It's almost like my stutter deactivates when i say stuff like that. It's almost as if when I make that decision (Okay I'm going to take the risk to say this), and enter that state of mind.....the stutter stops getting in the way. It doesn't always completely go. But you get the idea. Does anyone else have this? It's so weird! I'm still trying to figure out the psychology behind it.
