I’m thankful that my stutter has never gotten in the way of my romantic life. I’m also lesbian, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it? when I meet women I’m interested in, they could often care less about my speech and are more interested in what I have to say. I disclose to them almost right away and try to explain how much it affects my life. I’ve ran into my fair share of bad apples but I think ice found the one for me. patience on my behalf has helped a lot. I’m also a geek and send her posts and information on my stutter/adhd/personal health shit that I see on social media all the time. it works for us, and she’s always patient and listens to me and just takes me for who I am. I just try to be the best girlfriend I can be
