>As a man, I’m expected to be the “protector” in a relationship. Masculinity is embodied by confidence, charisma and and assertiveness. Isn't this what we call "toxic masculinity"?... I mean, who cares about any of that. You're just you - no need to adhere to stereotypes and demands that aren't sensible. Because they're not - sensible, that is. They're just cultural behavioral habits that others have come up with. That's not something you need to worry about. If you put your notion of identity into something unreasonable, that's going to be an issue. Until you learn to let go of those things, of course. Who cares about "man". Just speak as you do and be who you are.
