Not a fan of overcoming stuttering with "hard work". Doesn't work for most people. I also don't like the show generally because it handwaves having black nobles in 19th century England with a very stupid explanation that's based on the rantings of some non-historians about Queen Charlotte being black (she wasn't). And now some news sites accept it as fact. I get that it's fiction, but if you're gonna set a story in a real world setting it has to be at least a little believable. It's jarring to have a show set during a time period known for it's extreme racism and have black people in positions of power. There are a lot of questions of what that means for England's colonies. And why so many people would just stop being racist because the king married a black lady (who in real life was of German extraction like the king himself and not black at all).
