First of all, I read your post in an Irish accent (or at least my impression of an Irish accent). I love the way Irish speak! I'm not exactly in your position, but I have worked as a tutor and most recently as a TA in medical school (where I would basically give 2 hour lectures to students a year behind me) I've been told by lots of students that I was their favorite TA. I can tell you that it's definitely not because I was the smartest or most articulate, but it's because I went out of my way to help so many of them. I really loved teaching and despite my stutter, I wanted to help other students as much as I could. People really connected to that When I think back to all the great and bad teacher I've had, it always comes down to how much I felt like those teachers cared about teaching. That's what stays with you. I've had teachers who were great speakers, but complete assholes that didn't make a single difference in my life. So if you want to teach and you think you'll be a great teacher because of how much you care about teaching, then you should definitely teach!
