Hi Fun Optimal, Thank you for your thoughts but let us agree to disagree. Definitely do what is best for you. One size does not fit all. But if you had less than optimal hearing would you get therapy or a prosthesis (hearing aids)? If you had less than optimal vision would you get therapy or a prosthesis (eye glasses)? If you have less than optimal speech (stuttering), why oh why do you want therapy instead of a prosthesis? According to the literature (See for example: British Journal of Disorders of Communication Vol 14 No. 3) a prosthesis will help the majority of people and be effective in greatly reducing stuttering. Definitely do what is best for you. Maybe what is best for you is a speech prosthesis. Maybe.
