You reacted the most natural way possible so it’s fine. I’m sure your non ignorant friends will get it. I would’ve done the same. It’s just so frustrating that people take advantage of the fact that you can’t speak well or takes time to say words and either cut you off or stop listening all together. So I feel your pain.
