When I somehow miraculously get my order out at the drive thru window and then they make me repeat it because they weren't listening.... I hate to wish unemployment on anyone but if AI is coming for all of our jobs anyways I hope it comes for the fucking fast food industry first. Even when I pick up the order for my non-stuttering friends (so you know they annunciated clearly) I still have to say, you forgot x, I had a drink with that, I said no onions, it was actually a large, etc. I hope your jobs are the first to go and I can actually get the shit I ordered the first time without having to fucking repeat myself. They have no idea how hard it is to put in the order without stuttering and when they don't listen or get it wrong because they're not paying attention it drives me fucking bananas. Even when I order on an app I still inevitably have to correct something they did wrong bc they didn't read the order right. I hope they find gainful employment elsewhere but I'm ready for the robots to take over fast food like yesterday. I already ordered a Sprite not bc I wanted it but because I struggle pronouncing hard consonants and you still bring me a water!!! Are you kidding me... Sorry, rant over. Hopefully yall can relate.
