I have been trying to change the perception of my speech recently. I know very well from everyday experience that not accepting the fact that I stutter and trying to fight it out does me harm. However, I would think to myself that if I fully accepted the fact that I stutter, I'll feel happier, but how I speak will be stuck as where it is. I don't accept the fact that I stutter not because I'm embarrassed about it, but because I want to overcome it. This might sound confusing, but can I still overcome my stutter if I accept it?
