Stuttering on acronyms... Any advice I know this is a strange topic I guess this is weird but I’m gonna talk about it I just want to know if anyone out there experiences this as well... So I realized I block on acronyms, which are those short phrase for example the other day I just couldn’t bring myself to say DMV (driving motor vehicles) or IDEA ( law for special education during one of my classes). The thing is that fluent people around are able to say it with ease and it roll of their tongue and I can’t say it at all. So I realize it’s like I can’t catch my breathe, there’s an anticipation feeling waiting to happen, and I block on the acronym.I know it’s a whole bunch of tension happening but idk how to let go of the tension. There are times I would say that particular acronym without a block but those were times when I was relaxed and there was no tension.
