Does anybody have a telephone job?

Does anybody have a telephone job? I was wondering if anyone here has a job where they have to regularly speak on the phone? I’m currently trying to get out of my retail job into something more career-based. Most of the job adverts I see require answering the phone (something I’m deathly afraid of). I got a job in a call centre a few months ago, I quit during the training because I was that scared. My worry is that my stutter makes me sound unprofessional. If you do have a telephone job. Is it really that scary? Does it get easier over time? How have you dealt with stuttering over the phone? Have managers/bosses mentioned your stutter? Is the person you’re on the phone to wary of your stutter? Thank you👍
