I enter into hard consonants with a soft breathy low volume sound then increase gradually to get through the block of the consonant. It sounds unnatural at first, but with time you get faster and it becomes second nature. It takes practice. It was taught to me at Walter Reed hospital during a month long speech therapy program. I think it was called the Cafet method(?). I can’t find anything on it now. I’m not sure if it was experimental program or not. But after awhile, it works.
