Don't feel confined and restricted to using a speech therapist/pathologist to improve your speech. There are many other things that you can try doing yourself everyday (even if it were for a few minutes). Don't let the thought of this "ghosting" ruin and kill your vibes for the day! I'm going to share a few things that I learnt when I went to a speech therapist years ago which has helped me over the years. You can try doing these exercises a few minutes a day (eventually it all adds up). It's better than doing nothing! 1. Find words/alphabets that you find in your everyday vocabulary that you struggle on and document these words in a book 2. Take a deep breath and as you exhale through your mouth, pronounce these words whilst having a very soft grip on your lips 3. Start off pronouncing these words lightly and softly at first until you get comfortable with them and then gradually increase your voice to an audible tone I've been doing this for years and has helped me immensely. I've stuttered all my life but I now work in a job where I'm actively dealing with customers in tense situations over the phone. I hope these help you and anyone else reading this. All the best!
