My speech is pretty fluent now. 98%, my family tells me everyone has minor disfluencies. Maybe it’s ok for ‘normal’ people to occasionally stutter but to us. because of our histories, it’s the end of the world. Especially if you randomly stutter around people who have considered you fluent. It’s the stigma we fear and we have the right. We are stigmatized.
